Add torrent remotely (Retro Edition)

Intro

Previously torrenting was a thing. Nowadays the protocol is still exists. I want to show how can add a magnet-link or a torret file from a browser (everywhere) to a remote computer been turned on and the client is functional there.

Details

1. The home router port-forward been configured

• on the admin interface
• and MAC fiter for the local computer to set static IP as well

2. The home router IP address well known (a static public IP address)
3. The client been installed to the computer with Web Interface turned on the program runs

Usage

1. Visit the home router IP address (everywhere) with the defined port
2. Use the web UI to upload torrent file or enter magnet-link
3. Arriving home, the transmission seems to be okay
