At the first, I use Windows 11 for run DX12 games and for virtual Linux enviroments. Some games - like Battlefiled, Call of Duty games much - can not deal with Proton for obvious reasons I mentioned earlier.
So, I use Windows 11 and I tried Antivirus services. I installed Avast, removed Avast previously. Finally I stayed the native services available, it’s enough for me in this environment.
Be serious, month by month, Windows 11 freeses randomly. In Event Viewer under Windows logs > System > an Avast process shown up.
The Avast Browser Update Service (avast) service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.
Yes. It was uninstalled previously. I’m checking now Task Scheduler.
And bingo! Avast Update Service still wanted to reach a file not exists.
So in the Task Scheduler Library was hardly deleted.
So be careful:
